Who are

Cockburn Hawks Ice Hockey Club is an Amateur Ice Hockey Club based out of the Cockburn Ice Arena rink and was formed in 1997.

We are a member of Ice Hockey Western Australia (IHWA), which organizes and administers the leagues which we field teams in to.
Members of the Hawks Ice Hockey Club Inc playing in the IHWA league are eligible for selection to Western Australian representative teams playing in national tournaments.

As a club, we field teams across Juniors and Seniors in the Perth region.
Juniors have teams in U9, U11, U13, U15 & U18
Seniors have teams from Premier League Level down to Division 4 in which most of our starting players begin with.

The Ice Hockey journey for new players usually starts at the Cockburn Ice Arena's Play the Game & Skate the Game programs where players are taught how to skate and how to play ice hockey.
After completion of these programs, a player can usually join one of the eligible teams.

Our mission statement is to:
-Support high participation, high performance, and high sports industry growth. The Cockburn Hawks Ice Hockey Club Inc. will provide exceptional, year-round programs and services in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.

-Instruct, educate, and train players of all ages in the sport of ice hockey and to improve or develop their capabilities in the sport by conducting games, clinics, workshops, lessons, and seminars.

-Develop and encourage sportsmanship between and amongst those players who become associated with or involved with the Cockburn Hawks Ice Hockey Club Inc. for the betterment of their physical and social well-being.
